Active Connection & Reflection House
Situated within Chatham Historic Dockyard, the proposal transforms a former space of authority and industry into an environment focused on stillness, sensory experience, and human wellbeing.
The design prioritises the use of natural light, earthy materials, and reclaimed timber from dockyard boats, creating interiors that connect visitors to the dockyard while encouraging reflection and grounding. The project explores how adaptive reuse can transform industrial heritage into a restorative spatial space for all its users to experience.
